I admit that I suffer from “shiny object syndrome”, and I buy a lot of stuff just to check out, because there are often some incredible products for amazing prices. This time though, that wasn’t the case.
I almost never ask for a refund, unless something is truly broken or unuseable, and even then I often shrug it off because it’s not worth my time. When I asked for a refund, they actually refused, so I thought I’d spend a few minutes…
What you see below is almost word for word my Paypal dispute request – taking the actual text and turning it into a video then sent them included a link to this page so they could download the “high quality video” and decide.
- Video Profit Machine sounds like a good idea…
- but turns out an unprofessional sub-standard product
- I did politely ask Vivek Naryan for a refund, but I was told…
- “Our refund guarantee is conditional. We’ll issue a refund only if the software doesn’t work as demonstrated on the sales page.”
- Well besides some obvious shortcomings…
- Such as the fact that you can’t add images…
- or the fact that you can’t change the music choice from “random”…
- or the fact that you can’t add background patterns, images or even gradients…
- I say that it also does *not* perform as claimed – i.e. it is not “high-quality video”.
- First, look at the size. The produced video is 640 x 480 – circa 1999
- Second, the file it produces is an .avi file instead of an .mp3
- Besides being outdated, .avi’s are huge, and this short video is nearly 100 megs.
- Then, look at the low quality of this text…
- See the pixelated letters?
- Try using these clips in a modern sized video, and it’s almost unreadable.
- Can anyone actually call this “high-quality” with a straight face?
- That’s what the sales page and demo video both claim at VideoProfitMachine.com
- This product is not what was represented and I want a refund…
